Yesterday, I had my mammogram done. I had skipped last year, but got caught by my doctor, who wouldn't renew my hormones until I did it. (and, me without estrogen is not pretty). I never get by with the initial screening and this time was no exception...I had to undress and redress three times. OUCH, they have become like hangovers...they hurt more than they used to.
It is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, so if you haven't had yours yet, go get squeezed! Your local imaging facilities may have specials this week or month, mine did. I got mine done for $50. which is about half price, and I am self-pay.

Thanks for the reminder, Char. In fact, I just got a letter today that I need to schedule mine. Urgh, I just hate it, although it's never as bad as I think it's going to be. I always take some Advil BEFORE I go, and that seems to help!

I missed mine last year and am due for it again, but no insurance currently. :-( Thanks for visiting my blog. I do plan to have an MRI (my doc wants me to so he can rule out MS) as soon as we have benefits again.
