Last minute travel

This is gonna be a quickie posting. I am flying out in the morning to go to my daughter's (Kelly, on the left) in Kentucky. She is going to have kidney surgery Monday morning in Indianapolis. We had thought it was going to be cancelled due to other medical complications, but learned around 4pm that it was indeed going to be done.

So, you can imagine what kind of mess I'm in right now. I did manage to get a flight to Nashville, TN (at twice the price) and my sister will be picking me up there. I'm throwing stuff in a suitcase and have no idea what I need. It was 85 here today, but it is only in the 60s in Kentucky, and I'm sure it is colder in Indy. Following the surgery, I will be going home with Kelly for a couple of weeks, or as long as she needs me (or as long as she can stand me).

All that said, please keep Kelly in your thoughts and prayers. I will try to keep up on reading your blogs and e-mail, but may not be posting much. Have a Happy Easter you all.

Wishing you and your daughter and all, all the best. Take care!

My god, in the 60's...or higher? My kids were outside barefoot in the 50s. But they're nuts!
