I took a phrase and tried
to bend its words
to form the thoughts
within my head.

It would not conform
would not comply
the phrase remained
ridgidly unchanged.

Throwing ink and pen
against a wall just there
A picture formed itself.
Can I build a frame?

Ink on the wall? I hope it didn't splatter all over the paintwork.

Char- still not content to let it be what it wants to be, huh? Char, some things you must just leave alone. It's beautiful. Trust me.

Char: that is an incredible poem. it is considered a poem yes? Oh God, please say yes, or now all your commenters will know I am a very dumb woman. So just in case, Char, that piece of writing was incredible. Honest to God, just beautiful

Thanks for your comments, peeps. I just wrote that because I am so frustrated about having nothing to post. Nothing seems to be coming easily of late.

Braja-You always make me smile (but
I STILL can't get the linking to work) (duh)

Rick-I'm sure you're right. (but its probably the writing I should leave alone.

Jessica-We'll call it a poem, okay?
I always enjoy your stopping by to comment--thanks.

Definitely a poem, and a good one. I know exactly what you mean by it, too.

You've had such a rough time lately. I've been thinking of you, and I'm glad to see you back online.

MM-Thanks, you are always so kind.
Stop in again.

Have you been reading my thoughts lately. I'm trying to unstick my writing. It's there...just finding the right words isn't. (Hugs)Indigo

OK, which linking were we talking about? Also your address is no-reply comment, which means I can't email you. Very frustrating. Can you change it? Do you know how? :)

Char, I love it! Those damned ornery words. Sometimes you gotta smack 'em around to have 'em bend!

Yes. It can get dicey. And the trick is that one must stick with it. Not always an easy feat if you are the antsy type, like me.
